Regional council staff has been assisting the Dunn County fair association in it’s endeavor to construct a multipurpose activity facility in Killdeer. The council aided in pursuing finical resources for this 3 million dollar project. Completion is slated for early summer 2014.

Beyond Shelter, Inc.’s Patterson Heights Apartments development includes construction of a three story, 24-unit apartment building. The project includes six one-bedroom apartments, 12 two-bedroom apartments and six three-bedroom apartments along with detached garages on a 1.37-acre site in southwest Dickinson. Roosevelt-Custer Regional Council helped make a sewer project in Dunn Center possible through a $126,000 Community Development Block Grant. Funds were awarded Sept. 19, 2011. Local entities also provided $225,000 in matching funds.
R-CRC helped make an ADA project at Sentinel Butte City Hall possible by securing a $23,500 Community Development Block Grant. Funds were awarded Sept. 7, 2011. Local entities also provided $11,350 in matching funds.
Roosevelt-Custer Regional Council helped secure funding for a housing project in New England. On Sept. 7, 2011 New England Rural Rentals was awarded a $100,000 Community Development Block Grant. Local Entities also provided $17,970 in matching funds.
R-CRC is helping make Lincoln Park Townhomes a reality in Dickinson. The development will be owned by Phoenix Holding Group, L.L.C. and Richman Capital, while G.A. Haan Development will act as developer. Governor Jack Dalrymple allocated $200,000 in CDBG funds from the Governor’s Set-Aside for the project.
